Content Note

Please be aware that this book and our discussions may cover sensitive themes, including sexism, discrimination, structural inequities, and sexual violence. Some readers may find these topics triggering. We encourage participants to care for their wellbeing and step away if needed during discussions. Support resources will be shared for those who may want them.

The H&S Book Club is a safe space for all points of view on the topic to be shared, discussed, and examined in a respectful and academic manner. We believe that engagement in academic discourse fosters a well-informed community that appreciates inquiry and discovery. These events can serve to further strengthen our position as one of the premier art and design schools in the world producing artists and designers who are committed to lifelong learning and innovation.

We hope you’ll join us in this interdisciplinary exploration and meaningful dialogue!
