The ArtCenter Library is thrilled to invite you to a conversation featuring Sean Adams, Dean of Visual Art and Communication at ArtCenter College of Design. In this special event, we will explore Sean’s remarkable career as a designer, teacher, and author.
Sean Adams is the author of nine books, including The Designer’s Dictionary of Color and How Design Makes Us Think. He is an on-screen instructor for LinkedIn Learning, Domestika, and Adobe, and a contributor to Design Observer. As the only two-term national president in AIGA’s history, Adams was awarded the prestigious AIGA Medal in 2014. Previously, he was a founding partner of AdamsMorioka, with a client list that includes The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, Adobe, Disney, Gap, The Metropolitan Opera, the Museum of Natural History, Nickelodeon, Sundance, and the University of Southern California.
Adams’ expertise spans multiple areas of design, making his insights invaluable for students, professionals, and design enthusiasts alike.
